Willow Bridge 2009 Shiraz, Australian Wine from WesternAustralia

This is a classic Australian Shiraz, with a rich complex nose and a generous palate. This release from the Ferguson Valley is supported also by one-third Frankland fruit, from a vineyard with gravelly soils and a moderate climate. Vibrant deep colours give rise to an an appealing aroma of roasted coffee beans, spicy hints of star-anise and pepercorns. This is followed by dense flavours of fresh plum and mulberries which are superbly integrated with subtle oak maturation in new and one year old American Oak Hogsheads. A wine to enjoy now or it will age for 3-5 years with careful cellaring. Perfect recipe for this wine is Chilli crusted lamb cutlets. Screwcap.
