Churchview Bartondale Reserve 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon

The deep inky red colour holds promise of well ripened fruit. The aromas are of cherries, violets, blackberries, plums and fine chocolaty oak. The palate is a mouth filling melange of sweet mulberry, black currants and cherries with excellent firm acidity. The use of French and Hungarian barriques, reveal delightful nutty chocolaty toasty characters with a surprising hint of vanilla. Tannins are quite silky and add weight to this exceptional wine.
