The vineyard Eclectic Wines has been established by Paul Stuart in the Hunter Valley. Paul has worked with outstanding success in the Australian wine industry since 1979. This industry owes its reputation to the ideas, techniques and grape varieties taken from other countries. So they borrowed the best of the old world traditions and used them to make this wine. Chardonnay remains the number one white grape variety in Australia since its introduction to consumers, by winemakers in the early 1970`s. In the Eclectic tradition of borrowing the best of the world traditions, hundreds of innovative Australian winemakers have worked with this varietyy more than any other to craft a vast array of flavours and styles whilst drawing inspiration from, and paying homage to, the great wines of Europe.
This wine showes both French ancestry and Australian style with fresh citrus, peach, nectarine aromas and a refined yet flavoursome palate with subtle, integrated oak and fruit leading to a long clean finish. Screwcap.
