	This Reserve Shiraz is dedicated to the pioneering spirit of the Group Settlers of Margaret River. Bartondale Farm was the name of the present Churchview Estate Vineyards. To adequately toast the courage of those early settlers requires a wine of exceptional quality. This handcrafted Shiraz is such a wine. Specially selected parcels of fruit was allowed to ripen to 20 % berry shrivel in order to enhance the flavours. Maturation in French and Hungarian Barriques has imparted lovely smoky tobacco leaf characters. The aroma and the palate is of classic eastern spices, with red plums, black cherry and savoury oak beautifully integrated with silky smooth tannins. A fitting tribute you will agree! Screwcap.
