Churchview Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot 2007

The aroma reminds on cedar, black current, black olive character of the cabernet sauvignon, with a background of mulberries and fleshy berry fruits from the Merlot. The oak is soft on the nose, providing dusty and toasty complexity. The firm tannins of the Cabernet have been softened out on the palate by the blending with merlot. A classic example of a Margaret River Cabernet from a great vintage. Screwcap.
