Typically rich and elegant, Churchview Estate’s Shiraz are gaining a reputation of being first class. The Churchview Estate 2008 Shiraz is a very good example of how Margaret River can create elegant Shiraz. A blend of 6% Mourvedre adds some savoury spice and complexity.
Intense aromas of dark blackcurrant, ripe plums, chocolate, vanilla and cedar. The clever use of French and American oak compliments the fruit aroma of this wine by providing some smoky overtones and cedar nuances.
