Limited only! The Nitschke Block Shiraz is from the family´s vineyard in Bethany, one of the originally settled villages of the Barossa Valley. Planted in 1968, the vines are still traditionally hand pruned and picked. Production only 260 cases.
Quite energetic on the palate with a supple, medium-bodied mouth feel. Opulent ripe black plum, blackcurrant and mulberry fruit flow seamlessly into a mid-palate that shows hints of baking spice, mocha, licorice, dried flowers and dark chocolate. The finish lingers nicely with memories of plush fruit stretched harmoniously across a framework of ripe, gravelly tannins. Crewcap. Only 8 bottles available!
