Gapsted 2004 Shiraz - Viognier, Wine from Victoria

These limited release wines are innovativly created from specially selected small parcels of fruit grown in the heart of Voctorias High Country. Chosen by winemakers due to intynsity and quality, these unique wines higjlight individual varietal characters and styles.
Shiraz & Viognier from three gravelly hillside vineyards, including from the Gapsted Estate, were co-fermented using classic European methods. The result is intense fragrant cherry and spicy liquorice aromas, over a palate of ripe blackberry richness and soft tannins.
