Kreglinger Vintage Brut 2001, Tasmania

Located in northern Tasmania at a latitude of 41 south, the cool coastal slopes of the Pipers Brook region produce truly exceptional sparkling wine. This cuvee is a magnificent expression of its terroir. A blend of pinot noir and chardonnay, it displays a fine, persistent bead with a sophisticated yeasty bouquet from autolysis in the bottle. The addition of liqueur de dosage at disorgement has added complexity and richness to a multi layered palate that combines a creamy, biscuity richness with a crisp, dry finish.
