The Australian Wine Industry is concentrating onto the southern regions of the continent and on the states of Western Australia ( between Perth and Mount Barker), Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania. The climate between the 30th and 40th Latitude of the southern hemisphere is characterized by mild summer temperatures of around 20° C and offers ideal vineyard conditions.
