Yalumba Samuel´s Collection Grenache-Shiraz-Mataro 2016

This vineyard collection celebrates Yalumba´s direct lineage to some of Australia´s first vine plantings, several of which could be found in the vineyard Samuel Smith planted at Yalumba in the year 1849. With 170 years of unbroken independence, Yalumba continues to make wine at its founder´s home estate under direction of the same family today.
This Blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro expresses the evolution of the Barossa stalwart. Each varienty that contributes to this layered and aromatic wine has been planted in this famous region since its very establishment. Each variety of this GSM ripens at different times, contributing to layered aromatics and flavours. Wild fermented. Aromas of boysenberry, rhubarb and cinnamon.
